The founder and owner of eg.law is Debbie Everett. Debbie is a qualified CILEx Conveyancing Practitioner and Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
With over 20 years in local law firms, she has the knowledge and confidence to deliver a high standard transaction at a reasonable price. She deals with compliance and regulatory matters as well as managing the practice and overseeing more complex conveyancing matters.
Debbie is well known in the local area as an efficient and knowledgeable lawyer and good marketeer. She studied law in Devon and London and qualified whilst living in Norfolk. She is a reputable lawyer, but, more importantly, she understands what clients require and is able to adapt to different clients' needs. Working together to meet the same goal.
Marc qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and was a director and head of residential conveyancing at one of the City’s leading conveyancing firms.
Marc specialises in residential conveyancing for private individuals and developers. He has 30 years of experience in these areas and is a well known and well-regarded property solicitor. Marc adds an extra dimension to the expertise of eg.law. He can deal with all aspects of residential conveyancing, including acquisitions of development sites, road and drainage agreements, section 106 and affordable housing agreements.
In addition to his technical expertise, Marc is known for his approachable manner and prides himself on being friendly and personable. He endeavors to ensure all clients feel well informed, comfortable, at ease and not afraid to contact him if they are concerned or confused. This ties in with the ethos of eg.law and is why we are delighted to have Marc as part of our team. He embraces our fundamental core values of putting the client first and making the conveyancing process as well informed and stress-free as is humanly possible. As Marc says to clients “I work for you. You are my boss and my job is to make sure that I do everything I can to make what you want to happen actually happen”.
Sue is our Practice Manager but at the same time is our daily bookkeeper and completions manager. She works in a very organised fashion, is extremely conscientious whilst remaining very approachable to our clients.
In previous employment she has worked with the public on a daily basis. She strives to assist clients as much as possible to ensure they feel happy with the service that they receive.
Caleb assists with the financial administration of eg.law. As well as assisting with the financial side of things he also helps clients on general matters. He is very client focused, friendly and conscientious. Caleb has a lot of experience in customer service and is a valuable asset to our team.
Kate has many years of experience in Conveyancing and has previously worked at one of the main Conveyancing firms in Norwich and has often been praised for being friendly and approachable, and for ’going the extra mile’ to get the job done. She manages a very mixed caseload in a very organised manner with attention to detail.
Kate is currently studying under the Council of Licenced Conveyancers.
Kate enjoys working directly with the public and the face to face aspect of residential Conveyancing we encourage at eg.law.
Charlie joins us from another local conveyancing firm. She is an experienced conveyancer who is very well organised and eager to do all that she can for her clients.
Charlie is currently studying to become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Jenny used to work for a well known conveyancing firm in Norwich for many years. Whilst she took a break from Conveyancing to work for Center Parcs, she is now back in the industry she enjoys and we are very pleased to have her. Jenny handles her own caseload of a mixture of freehold, leasehold and new builds. She is very down to earth and can assist the most nervous of clients.
Viv has many years of experience in estate agency and is well known in the Norwich area. She joins us as an assistant but most importantly as a sales progressor in order to ensure that your transaction moves to exchange and completion as quickly as possible.
Debbie works for us ad hoc as an audio typist/conveyancing assist. She has many years of experience in conveyancing. Whilst she doesn't work within our office she is very much part of our team.
Annabel is our social media marketing consultant. She is responsible for planning, implementing and managing our social media strategy. Annabel is a qualified marketer and has an MSc in Branding and Advertising from Nottingham Trent University.
Our office dog belongs to Marc & Debbie. He is a rescue from Cyprus and is very friendly. If you don't like dogs please let us know before you visit and we will hide him away.
